A new, not so sweet, Banana bread

Updated: Jun 20, 2022

Today I tried to do a new kind of Banana bread. Normally I do a vegan version but this time I tried one with sour cream. Here is my modified recipe:

You will need

2 riped bananas

2 dl oats

2 dl wheat flour

2 dl graham flour

1 dl sunflower seeds

2 teaspoons baking soda

1,5 teaspoon salt

2,5 dl sour cream

Pumping seeds (for decoration)

Bread crumbs for the bread form

1 dl = 0.4 cup

Set the oven to 200 degrees celsius. (360 Fahrenheit)

Mix the dry ingredients separately. Mash the bananas. Put the bananas and the sour cream in the dry mix. Stir it together.

Butter a bread form and pour breadcrumbs inside. I use one oblong bread form.

Put the batter in the bread form. Sprinkle some pumping seeds on top for decoration.

Bake in the lower part of the oven for 1 hour.

Take out the bread at let it cool down on a grid.

Du behöver

2 mogna bananer

2 dl havregryn

2 dl vetemjöl

2 dl grahamsmjöl

1 dl solrosfrön

2 tsk bikarbonat

1,5 tsk salt

2,5 dl gräddfil

Pumpafrö (for decoration)

Ströbröd till formen

Sätt ugnen på 200 grader.

Mixa ihop de torra ingredienserna separat. Mosa bananerna. Sätt i bananer och gräddfil i den torra mixen och rör ihop.

Smöra en form och häll i ströbröd. Jag använder en avlång form.

Häll i smeten i formen och toppa med pumpakärnor.

Grädda i ugnens nedre del i 1 timma.

Ta ut brödet och låt det svalna på ett galler.
