How to prepare for a romantic day

So for Valentine´s day I did prep some easy love-hacks to surprise the family. I did do a video about it and here you can see some stuff that I made.

Easy mozarella heart salad. I just used a heart cookie cutter for the mozarella and the sliced the tomatoes. Just added olive oil, salt, black pepper and basil. Yum!

Oreo love monsters - just melt chocholate (I used pink), dip have the oreos in the chochlate. Sprinkle some sprinkle over them. Add eyes. I used white suger paste and black round sprinkles for the eyes. Fasten the eyes with some melted chocolate.

Cardboard yarn hearts. Just cut out a heart from cardboard. I used paper yarn for mine because it was that I had home. But regular yarn will do as well. Just go round and round with the yarn until you can't see the cardboard.

Decorate the candles you have at home. I used some paper to cut our hearts and than added some paper yarn around them. Then I added a sticker to the other one. Simple and cute. Don't leave the candles unnoticed.

Tapas dessert board. I love doing tapas boards for the family and the family really loves it. Everybody can eat what they like. So this Valentine's day I did do a dessert board. It was my first time doing it so big and I really love how it turned out.

Homemade "Semla" . I just cut out a heart on top of the bun. The bun is filled with almond paste and whipped cream.

Me.

And hubby served his first latte art heart. On Valentine's day! He had worked hard on this since we got our new coffee machine a couple of weeks ago. How cute?!

If you want to see more of what I did and get some inspiration for easy hacks to instant make it looks like you put in a big effort. Go see this video!

xoxo Linda
